You have heard that a team is only as strong as its weakest link. The idiom itself expresses the notion that a chain is no stronger than its weakest link. This is why as a congregation we strived to love, encourage and teach EVERY member the "whole counsel of God" (Acts 20:27).
Register for the SCHOOL of PREACHING & DISCIPLESHIP
(Both men and women can be in these classes. While women are not bishops (Elders/Pastors/Preachers) according to the scriptures ( I Timothy 3:2. I Corintians 14:33-35), they can certainly learn about how God views them so if they are married to one or simply in the congregation with one, they will know what God teaches about their ROLE.
As we prepare to reach out to thousands of souls each week, we must prepare to dedicate our mind to the study of God's word. This means getting registered for the classes and getting the Bible material to study along with your Bible.
As some of us prepare to go door to door, or simply pass out Bible material, etc, our bodies must be up for the challenge to get out and and move around. This can mean anything from looking at your eating habits to fasting.
Lastly as we dedicate our souls to God we must ask ourselves "WHY did I become a Christians?" and "What commitment did I make to follow Christ?"
We made the committment to "GO" as Christ told us to. Your level of spiritual growth and maturity will determine for you what you have decided to give to God.
Everyone will have the opportunity to be trained on the teachings of Christ. Many people go to the gym and pay for memberships. While that has a place in our society, we will be training to win the world for Christ. Are you ready?
"For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things,having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come" (1 Timothy 4:8)
